We are soliciting donations of specific goods and services from corporations to help us complete the ride and communicate to you while on it. Tangible goods donated for the ride will be donated to the Piedmont Environment and Education Foundation at the conclusion of the ride. In exchange for your donation, we can assure you phenomenal product placement opportunities!
We are pleased to acknowledge that Iowa Thin Film Technologies has generously donated one of their PowerFilm rollable solar panels to the ride. We will use the panel to charge computing and communication electronics en route. At the conclusion of the ride, the panel will be donated to the Piedmont Environment and Education Foundation and it will be used by middle and secondary school groups in environmental science field projects. Bob of Bob's Bikes has been an enormous help in preparing for this trip, tuning up our bikes when we screw up, and being a great wealth of bike knowledge. He has also generously donated several items for the trip.

One of the important goals of this ride is to raise funds for the Piedmont Environment and Education Foundation. We are soliciting pledges of funds indexed to miles completed. (We are going to finish, so you might as well get used to the idea of writing a check for the full amount.) Suggested pledges range from $0.01 to $1.00 per mile ridden.
